One quick review of Shercon Resort in Batangas, Philippines

        Shercon Resort is a Tropical farm-Hotel-Ecology Park that overlooks the Taal Lake that gives the same feeling of being in Tagaytay and if you haven't seen this guide Where to spend 24 hours in Tagaytay, Philippines check it out. Shercon Resort is located at Brgy. San Sebastian, Mataas na kahoy, Batangas and it is above the Taal Lake. For only two and a half hours of drive from Metro Manila you can now have your ultimate break from your busy life to unwind and to relax your mind, body and soul.

 Shercon Resort is currently has a six pools and it is progressively developing with a new design. They also have Function halls for any events and recreational activities that is ideal for Team Building. They have Basketball Court, Zip line, Rappelling, Paint Ball and Wall Maze and the whole place is big enough to accommodate large group of people.

When it comes to food, their food is well prepared with some kind of twist that you don't usually do to your normal dishes and it is something that you will miss. Their drinks are so refreshing with after taste of fresh cucumber and they also have Ice Tea that is also great. They also provide plastic spoon & fork and cold mineral water for free, and their service is highly on time and very accommodating.

At first, we arrived at the resort an hour earlier and we checked in exactly 2pm. If you do not know the way you can use Waze app to guide you to your destination and make sure to exit at Malvar from Star Tollway. After Checking in we had our snacks before dipping into the pools. After that we hurriedly went to the nearby pool and I was slightly surprised that they have this one infinite pool where you can relax at the edge looking up at the view down below. Just like the one in most of Instagram summer photos who drinks a glass of wine at the edge while enjoying the view.

We also tried their Wall Maze which is around 7 ft. tall and I will tell you that It wasn't easy to cross to the other side as it looks. I almost got lost about 5 times and slightly feel dizzy until we (five of us) meet each other trapped inside. Then there were two who were able to get out of the Maze so they directs us out as they can see the Maze at the higher ground. It was my first time and the experience is totally crazy as if you don't want to try it again alone and I'm laughing the whole time.

At night we watched movies from the projector that we brought and at the morning we've tried playing basketball. And if you want to borrow a ball you just have to surrender an I.D at the main office in exchange.

For the honest review here is the challenges that we've encounter :

The lack of assistance searching for our room to stay. It is an etiquette to assist your guest to his/her room. So from what happen we've passed the Function Hall first (which is unnecessary) before seeing the guest room.

The lack of bathroom inside the Villa as we were 15 person. So some of us has to used the public bathroom although it doesn't have a Hot water.

Overall the place is great and the food is delicious and this is a place where you wanna go back. We had fun during the whole night of our stay and thanks to my Team for cheering us all and motivating us that night.
